Called for an inspection, it was scheduled the next day. Randen arrived at the scheduled time and informed us of what he was going to do. The inspection was professional and through. I am a snowbird from Kentucky with a house in the Sebring Florida area. I was under the gun to get an inspection of the Florida house. I called several home inspection companies and Shellie hooked me into DNS with her professional and pleasant demeanor. There was no delay in getting my inspection scheduled. Being out of state, DNS was more than willing to work with the schedule of a neighbor that could give them access to my house. Randen was very thorough in his inspection and - no surprise to me- there were major issues with the plumbing. Long story short, Randen was concise, honest, professional, knowledgeable, pleasant and timely (huge) in getting his re-inspection report(free of cost) every where it needed to go. DNS inspected a commercial building we are purchasing. They were very easy to work with and flexible when we had to change our dates. My husband and I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Randen V. at DNS. Since this is not our first home, we’ve dealt with former inspectors before. He completely changed our view of home inspectors! Not only was he polite and punctual, but the way he presented himself showed to us that he took pride in his profession. We understand that no one wants to be shadowed while working, but he was very inviting and did not mind us following along as he worked. He mentioned to us that if any questions or concerns presented itself, we can ask during the process. We stayed by him for a while, but Randen is the first inspector we’ve felt comfortable to take a step back while he did his job. It was very refreshing to work with a professional that truly felt like a professional. Randen made it feel as if he was the buyer of the house and having that feeling in an inspector is all you need. One thing that really pleasantly surprised us was how thorough Randen is and his knowledge. Watching a gentleman his height crawl through some spaces that most inspectors avoid was amazing to watch. He even went way deeper into the attic than anyone else would just to be sure it will pass code. That is not a very roomy attic either, he squeezed into some tight spaces and made his way through it like a maze. We’ve had previous inspectors that didn’t even want to go in the attic let alone crawl through it. He found some issues with the roof and immediately grabbed us, explained what is going on and why he will have to defect it. He spent probably a whole hour trying to find proof that certain nails were used in the roof for insurance, and he didn’t give up until he found them! From former experience with other inspectors, if we presented the idea of crawling into the attic they would look at me as if I have lobsters coming out of my ears. We all understand that when it comes down to clocking out of work and dealing with your last claim, we are all ready to jump in our vehicles and head straight home, but Randen took the time to show us every picture and explain in DETAILS on what will be in his report and why. After receiving the report, I have to say we were beyond impressed and with the knowledge he shared with us, as we understood everything in the report. We had a wonderful experience with DNS and truly recommend them, and Randen in particular, for your home inspections. This is the best experience we’ve ever had with an inspector. If your future is real estate, this is the gentleman you want on your side. We do look forward to working with Randen in the future.

I have contacted DNS Home inspectors on 10/10/2022. Sean did my inspection and I was very very happy I hired this company. He inspected the house for three hours which was very thorough. I got the inspection report by 8 o’clock the next day which was phenomenal. I found Sean , And the office to be very professional and prompt. We have bought several homes over the past many years and have been disappointed over things that weren't caught. It's frustrating to get a "clean bill of health" on the house you want only to find several problems that were missed after move in. Sean, with DNS did NOT miss a thing. He is the most detailed inspector we have encountered PERIOD. We were really impressed by the "detective" side of his work, he doesn't judge anything good or bad, right or wrong until he has searched to the very last detail. PLUS he actually explained every item to us. GREAT GUY!
